Details

* WHAT...For the Hazardous Seas Warning, very steep and hazardous
seas 17 to 23 feet. For the Small Craft Advisory, west winds
20 to 30 kt with occasional gusts up to 35 kt.

* WHERE...Tinian and Saipan Coastal Waters.

* WHEN...For the Hazardous Seas Warning, until 5 PM ChST
Saturday. For the Small Craft Advisory, until 5 AM ChST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or cause
damage to vessels.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Typhoon Sinlaku has now moved far enough
away for winds to fall below tropical storm conditions. Combined
seas of 19 to 23 feet will keep marine conditions hazardous until
late Saturday afternoon. Seas will be slow to subside and Small
Craft Advisory winds will continue into the weekend.

Recommendations

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid boating in hazardous conditions.
