At 17:55 on April 17, 2026, Liangshan Meteorological Observatory issued an orange hail warning signal for Xichang City: towns (streets) such as Chuanxing Town, Zhangmuqing Town, Langhuan Town, Sihe Township, Daxing Township, Lizhou Town, Anning Town, etc. in Xichang City may experience hail accompanied by lightning weather within 6 hours and may cause hail disasters. When hail appears, it may be accompanied by strong lightning, short-term heavy rainfall, and strong winds. Please be aware of the potential adverse effects of catastrophic weather.
