At 17:50 on April 17th, the Zhuhai Meteorological Observatory issued thunderstorm and strong wind warning signals for Xiangzhou District, Jinwan District, High tech Zone, Cooperation Zone, and Economic Development Zone. The orange warning for thunderstorm and strong wind in Wanshan District remains in effect.
