At 20:15 on April 17, 2026, the Huai an Meteorological Observatory issued an orange warning signal for heavy fog: it is expected that from late tonight to tomorrow morning, most towns (streets) in Qingjiangpu District, Ecological and Cultural Tourism District, Industrial Park, Economic Development Zone, Huaiyin District, Huai an District, Hongze District, Lianshui County, Xuyi County, and Jinhu County will experience strong or extremely strong fog with visibility less than 200 meters and some areas less than 50 meters. The Municipal Emergency Bureau and the Municipal Meteorological Bureau jointly remind people to pay attention to prevention.
