At 20:30 on April 17, 2026, the Ludian County Meteorological Observatory issued an orange hail warning signal: In the next 2 hours, there is a high possibility of hail in towns and streets such as Wenping, Shuimo, Xiaozhai, Jiangdi, Longshu, Xinjie, Taoyuan, and Ciyuan in our county, which may cause severe hail disasters.
