...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Illinois...
Kishwaukee River near Perryville affecting Winnebago County.
Kishwaukee River at Belvidere affecting Winnebago and Boone
Counties.
Pecatonica River near Shirland affecting Winnebago County.
For the Kishwaukee River...including Belvidere, Perryville...Minor
flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Kishwaukee River from Confluence with South Branch
Kishwaukee River downstream to the Rock River, including the
Perryville gauge.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Roadways threatened at Blackhawk Valley
Campground south of Rockford.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 13.1 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:30 AM CDT Friday was 13.1 feet. The river is
currently cresting.
- Forecast...The river is expected to remain generally steady
the through today and begin a slow fall by this weekend.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
