...The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids MI has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Michigan...
Grand River at Robinson Township affecting Ottawa County.
Grand River at Lowell affecting Kent County.
Grand River at Grand Rapids affecting Kent County.
Grand River at Ada affecting Kent County.
Pere Marquette River near Scottville affecting Mason County.
.Numerous rounds of recent heavy rains continue to work through the
river systems. Major flooding continues on the Muskegon River, with
minor to moderate flooding on certain sections of the Grand River
and other smaller rivers. One final round of rain moves through late
tonight and adds an additional one-half inch or so of rain to most
areas.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Pere Marquette River near Scottville.
* WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 5.5 feet, Expect minor flooding of campgrounds
located in Scottville Riverside Park.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 5.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 4.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to remain at or slightly
above flood stage untill shortly after midnight tonight.
- Flood stage is 5.5 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
5.5 feet on 04/13/2013.

Recommendations
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
