Rock River at Latham Park affecting Winnebago County.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Rock River from Confluence with Kishwaukee River to Castle
Rock State Park near Oregon, including the Byron gauge.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 13.5 feet, Numerous low-lying structures downstream
of Byron are flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 13.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The river climbed to flood stage overnight
into this morning.
- Forecast...The river is expected to crest near 14.0 feet on
Sunday.
- Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
13.8 feet on 07/16/2024.
