Menominee River near Niagara affecting Menominee, Florence,
Dickinson and Marinette Counties.
Menominee River near Vulcan affecting Menominee, Dickinson and
Marinette Counties.
For the Menominee River...including Florence, Twin Falls Dam-Iron
Mountain, Vulcan, Niagara, Pembine, Menominee River at White Rapids
Dam, Koss, McAllister...Major flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Menominee River near Vulcan.
* WHEN...Until Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Structures along the river along Homestead
Road and Sturgeon Way Road may start to be impacted by floodwaters.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 16.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 10:00 AM CDT Friday was 17.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 16.6 feet this afternoon. It
will then fall just after midnight tonight. It will rise to 17.5
feet Sunday evening. It will then fall below flood stage
Wednesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 17.4
feet on 04/27/1996.

Recommendations
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
