Details

At 513 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Steffenville, or 16 miles southeast of Edina, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

This tornado will be near...
Steffenville and Plevna around 515 PM CDT.
La Belle around 525 PM CDT.
Lewistown around 530 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by the tornado include Newark and
Monticello.

Recommendations

Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building
away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a
vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself
from flying debris.
