...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...
Kishwaukee River at Belvidere affecting Winnebago and Boone
Counties.
* WHAT...The river is currently near minor flood stage.
* WHERE...Kishwaukee River from County Line Road downstream to
confluence with South Branch Kishwaukee River, including the
Belvidere gauge.
* WHEN...Until this evening.
* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Trails in Belvidere Park threatened.
At 9.0 feet, Boone-McHenry County Line Road threatened. Low-lying
areas are threatened in Belvidere Park.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 8.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to remain near flood stage
this morning before continuing to fall.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

Recommendations
A Flood Warning means water levels above flood stage are imminent or
may already be occurring. Persons along rivers and streams in the
warned area should take immediate precautions to protect life and
property.
