...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MDT THIS EVENING
FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES
322 AND 326...

.Today will be mild and dry with highs in the 50s and humidities
dropping to as low as 15%. Northwest winds will increase with
gusts of up to 45 MPH through early this evening. The combination
of dry and windy conditions along with dry fuels will create
critical fire weather conditions.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 322 Fall River County Area
and 326 Pine Ridge Area.

* WINDS...Northwest 20 to 30 MPH with gusts up to 45 MPH.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent.

* IMPACTS...The combination of gusty winds and low relative
humidity will produce critical fire weather conditions.

Recommendations

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
