The Sanmen County Meteorological Observatory issued an orange warning signal for heavy fog at 02:45 on April 19, 2026: It is expected that there will be strong fog with visibility below 200 meters in the coastal waters of our county, as well as in towns (streets) such as Puba Port, Jiantiao, Shepan, Haiyou, Hairun, and Zhuao today. Other towns (streets) will have fog with visibility below 500 meters. Please pay attention to the adverse effects of low visibility weather on traffic and maritime operations.

Recommendations

1. The government and relevant departments should do a good job in anti fog work; 2. Strengthen dispatch and command of airports, railways, highways, ferry terminals and other units; 3. Drivers must strictly control the speed of the vehicle or ship; 4. Reduce outdoor activities.
