Flood alert: Somerset coast at Porlock Weir

High tides on Friday evening and Saturday morning may lead to flooding.
Areas most at risk include the coastline between Gore Point and Hurlstone Point including Porlock Weir.
The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for peak levels at Hinkley Point as follows: The first forecast high water of 6.11mAODN is at 19:45 on Friday 17/04/2026, with Westerly force 4 winds.
The second forecast high water is at 08:15 on Saturday 18/04/2026 with a level of 6.21mAODN with South-westerly force 4 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level.)
