* WHAT...Blizzard conditions. Additional snow accumulations between
1 and 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Baldwin Peninsula, Lower Kobuk Valley, and Northern Seward
Peninsula.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM AKDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel may be impacted.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strongest winds will arrive midday/early
afternoon today, continuing through tonight. Wind gusts will
remain around 35 mph through Thursday night.

Recommendations

Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with
your vehicle.
