The Long Island Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow lightning warning signal at 14:00 today. It is expected that from this afternoon to tomorrow, all towns and streets in Long Island will be cloudy with showers or thunderstorms, which may cause lightning disasters and accidents. Please take preventive measures against the adverse effects of convective weather such as lightning, thunderstorms, strong winds, and short-term heavy rainfall on transportation, production, and daily life.
