Details

At 713 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Antonia, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

This tornado will be near...
Barnhart, Antonia, Pevely, Horine, Festus, Crystal City and
Hillsboro around 715 PM CDT.
Imperial and Herculaneum around 720 PM CDT.
Oakville and Arnold around 725 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by the tornado include Otto, Mapaville and
Kimmswick.

This includes the following State Parks...
Mastodon Historic Site, Sandy Creek Covered Bridge Historic Site and
Gov. Dunklin's Grave Historic Site.

This includes Interstate 55 in Missouri between exits 178 and 190.

Recommendations

Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building
away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a
vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself
from flying debris.
