The National Weather Service in Aberdeen has issued a Fire
Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in
effect from Thursday afternoon through Friday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...In South Dakota, Campbell, McPherson, Brown,
Walworth, Edmunds, Potter, Faulk, Spink, Sully, Hughes, Hyde,
Hand, Lyman and Buffalo.

* WINDS...West 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 17 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become
difficult to control or suppress.
