Tide levels, wind strength and wave conditions are reducing today.
Flooding is possible 3 hours either side of high tide on the morning of Thursday 23rd.
Areas particularly at risk include Torbay, Teignmouth, Beesands, Torcross, Slapton and Dawlish.
The high tide at Teignmouth on Thursday is at 11:45AM, times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 1.24mAOD, which is 0.08 metres above tide table level. Strong Easterly winds and offshore wave heights up to 1.4m are forecast over the high tide.
Coastal conditions are forecast to ease throughout the day, and this Flood Alert will be removed after low tide this afternoon.
