At 412 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lake Fausse Pointe, or 9 miles northeast of Jeanerette, moving west
at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
New Iberia, St. Martinville, Jeanerette, Loreauville, Sorrel, Lydia,
and Lake Fausse Pointe.
