* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...The island of Hawaii in Hawaii County...

* WHEN...Until 700 PM HST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in
streams.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 402 PM HST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain over parts of
the South Kona and Kau Districts. Rain was falling at a rate of
0.5 to 1.5 inches per hour with the heaviest rain near Kahuku
Ranch. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in
the advisory area. Additional showers are expected through this
evening.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hawaiian Ocean View, Naalehu, Kawa Flats, Punaluu Beach, Hawaii
Volcanoes Park Kahuku Unit, Waiohinu, Discovery Harbour and
Milolii.
