At 1118 PM EDT, doppler radar indicated heavy rain had fell across
the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain has fallen in the
last two hours or so, with up to 6 inches total thus far today in
some locations. No additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is
ongoing.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by prior heavy rain.
SOURCE...Emergency management reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

dangers of flooding.
