* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Northwestern Lake County in northeastern Minnesota...
Central St. Louis County in northeastern Minnesota...

* WHEN...Until 1145 PM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 908 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms is again occurring over the Advisory area. Between
1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen from the first round of
thunderstorms earlier this evening. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area through Midnight tonight. This additional rain will
result in additional minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hibbing, Ely, Lake Vermilion, Virginia, Chisholm, Mountain Iron,
Hoyt Lakes, Gilbert, Aurora, Babbitt, Buhl, Biwabik, Embarrass,
Cook, Tower, Winton, Soudan Underground Mine State Park, Bear
Head Lake State Park, Robinson and Boundary Waters Canoe Area
Wilderness Near Trout Lake.
