Flood warning: Cumbrian coastline from St Bees Head to Haverigg, along the coast from North Head to Haverigg

High tides, strong winds and large waves are expected to cause flooding overnight. 
Flooding is expected from 22:30 on Monday 26/10/2026 to 01:30 on Tuesday 27/10/2026. 
Locations most affected will be the coastline from St Bees Head to Haverigg including Seascale, Ravenglass, Saltcoats and beach front properties at Coulderton, Nethertown and Braystones 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Monitor local water levels and weather conditions.
