Rising river levels this evening may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on Saturday 24 October from 7:30 PM.
River levels are rising at Shepton Mallet, Garston Street, as a result of today's intense rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is possible until early Sunday morning (25/10/2026).

Rain will continue into late Saturday evening but is expected to become less intense before easing during the early hours of Sunday. Drizzle and sunny intervals are then expected for the remainder of the day.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels .
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
