Little Kanawha River at Glenville affecting Gilmer County.
For the Little Kanawha River...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Little Kanawha River at Glenville.
* WHEN...Until this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Low spots on Brooklyn Drive, Elm Street,
and River Street flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 23.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.7 feet
this morning. It will then fall below flood stage early this
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 23.6
feet on 03/31/1940.
