Flood alert: The Suffolk coast at Southwold

High tides this evening may lead to flooding. 
Flooding is possible Flooding is possible from 7:30pm to 9:30pm, on Sunday 25th October. 
We expect high tide levels at the harbourside in Southwold. The detailed forecast is for a peak level at Lowestoft of 1.98mAODN at 8:30pm, on Sunday 25th October, which is 1.0m above tide tables, Wind Force 7, Westerly  The high tide tomorrow morning is expected to be as high with a peak level at Lowestoft of 1.96mAODN at 8:15am, Monday 26th October, which is 0.82m above tide tables, Wind Force 5, South Westerly. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded.
