...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...Indiana...

Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site down to
Riverton...and at Mount Carmel.

.Heavy rainfall through the first half of the week of mainly one and
half to two inches had produced minor flooding on portions of the
Wabash River. Amid a double crest...the river recently receded to
below bankfull...with current late week rainfall of up to one inch
to produce further minor flooding starting Saturday night at
Hutsonville...Riverton...and Mount Carmel.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Riverton.

* WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Some agricultural lands underwater. A few
rural roads in Crawford County, Illinois close as water backs up
Minnow Slough. High water affects campground at Leaverton Park in
Palestine. A few private roads near the Gill Township levee in
Sullivan County may flood. Water level is at the top of most
makeshift levees.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:00 AM EDT Saturday /11:00 PM CDT Friday/ the stage was
14.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tonight to a crest of 15.7 feet tomorrow evening. It
will then fall below flood stage early Monday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

Recommendations

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
