...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S affecting Clinton and Scott
Counties.

Cedar River near Conesville affecting Louisa and Muscatine
Counties.

Iowa River at Oakville affecting Louisa County.

Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County.

Iowa River at Marengo affecting Benton and Iowa Counties.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Iowa River at Wapello.

* WHEN...Until late Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, agricultural land near the river is
flooded and water covers most islands. Water starts rising onto
secondary roads in Wapello Bottoms.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 21.4 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:00 AM CDT Sunday was 21.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.5
feet this afternoon. It will then remain steady before
falling below flood stage early Tuesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

Recommendations

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
