Details

At 101 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Reynolds, or 27
miles southwest of Ironton, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Viburnum, Oates, Bixby, Centerville and Black.

This includes the following State Parks...
Johnsons Shut-Ins State Park and Taum Sauk Mountain State Park.

Recommendations

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
