Details

At 128 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northwest of
Sturkie, or 12 miles south of West Plains, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 1:23 PM Dime size hail was reported in
Moody.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
South Fork, Brandsville, Lanton, and Moody.

Recommendations

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
