...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Wisconsin...Illinois...
Turtle Creek Near Clinton affecting Winnebago and Rock Counties.
Wisconsin River At Wisconsin Dells affecting Columbia and Sauk
Counties.
Wisconsin River At Portage affecting Columbia County.
Root River At Franklin affecting Milwaukee County.
Root River Canal At Raymond affecting Racine County.
Sugar River At Brodhead affecting Green, Winnebago and Rock
Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Root River at Franklin.
* WHEN...Until Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Portions of the Root River Parkway are
flooded. Oakwood Road near S 60th is flooded. Some yards along the
river are flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 9.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:00 PM CDT Thursday was 9.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tomorrow evening and continue falling to 4.2 feet Thursday,
April 23.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
9.2 feet on 06/13/1999.

Recommendations
