The Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for strong winds at 12:58 on April 17, 2026: It is expected that there will be intermittent strong winds in the mountainous areas of the north and south from the afternoon of the 17th to the 19th, with gusts of 10-11 levels in the wind direction and Daban area. From the night of the 17th to the 19th, most parts of the plain experienced northeast gusts of 8-9 levels from north to south. Among them, from the night of the 17th to the 18th, gusts of 10-11 levels occurred in the northern part of Luntai, along the mountains in Hejingnong District, east of Korla, and east of Ruoqiang, with local gusts reaching 12 levels or above.
