* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, north winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts
up to 50 mph expected. For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing
temperatures as low as 24 possible.

* WHERE...Bailey, Hale, Lamb, Castro, Parmer, and Swisher Counties.

* WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, from 9 PM this evening to 5 AM CDT
Saturday. For the Freeze Watch, from late Saturday night through
Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few
power outages may result. Frost and freeze conditions could kill
crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected
outdoor plumbing.

Recommendations

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
